Equipment Packages
Our equipment packages include a full line of coolers, freezers, stoves, ovens, rethermalization units, food service counters, walk-in units, and large, industrial cold-storage areas. Our interior finishing packages feature custom millwork and cabinetry, furniture (chairs, stools, bars, and booths, display fixtures, shelving, lighting, custom glasswork, and more. With our integrated systems, you will be able to actively manage your energy costs by connecting the latest technologies in energy recycling and higher efficiencies with computerized control systems.  

Specialized Refrigeration Systems
Another valuable service offered by SCR is the design, installation, service and maintenance of specialized Refrigeration Systems for manufacturing, food processing, and other production environments. Our numerous installations throughout Minnesota are used in diverse applications such as geothermal heat pumps, potato crop chillers, cooling printing presses, ice builders for chilling food ingredients, and controlling cheese storage/ageing facilities.

• Bernatello's Pizza (Maple Lake, MN) - our Refrigeration System freezes 100,000 pizzas per day at their production plant.
• Faribault Foods Inc. (Cokato, MN) - we installed a chill room for meat in their food production.
• Maneas Meat Co. (Sauk Rapids, MN). Pan-O-Gold Baking Co. (St. Cloud, MN).
• Spectralytics Inc. (Dassel, MN) - chilled water units for cooling their lasers.

Managing Your Energy Expenses
With rising energy costs, our customers place a higher premium on managing their energy expenditures. We utilize new technologies and design elements with built-in efficiencies that reduce your operating and labor costs. Wherever possible, we install heat reclaim systems that recapture thermal energy given off by refrigeration equipment and recycle it either for water heating or into the building's central heating system. We can also use this thermal recycling to defrost glass doors to freezer and cooler units, thus saving on expensive electrical resistance heaters.

Lighting
By using LED lighting in all kinds of refrigeration cases, our customers realize several cost savings at once: the lights last far longer than traditional bulbs, they use far less energy, and they give off almost no heat. In addition to these applied technologies, we feature computerized controls systems for customers looking for precise management of their energy costs.
